#MutualAid I can hardly believe I’m doing this, and if my bride knew I was I’d probably be in serious trouble. But, as King Lear said, nothing will come of nothing, so here goes. We aren’t in danger of losing #housing or anything like that, but here’s our situation. We are part of a homeowner’s association that is extremely short of funds and needs to do some serious and much-needed repairs mucho pronto. So, the solution seems to be to put a special assessment onto the #HOA members. We’re barely holding on as it is here, so we decided that we needed to get out before whatever happens happens. Trouble is, our house isn’t selling. It’s been on the market for four weeks now, and not even a nibble. Also, we don’t have good enough credit to get a loan of any kind. We went in debt putting improvements into theis home, to the tune of $30,000 plus, including a new HVAC system and a sump pump. So, we are in a position where we can’t afford to leave and we can’t afford to stay. The best short-term solution would be to pay down some of our debt so our debt-to-income ratio looked better to lenders. We’re figuring maybe $20K would get that done. We know that’s a pipedream, but honestly every little bit will help. My Venmo ID is Kevin-LaRose-6. Even $10 or $15 would be so appreciated. Thanks, now I think I’ll go throw up because I can’t believe I even did this.

This is the same psuedo-government that _MANDATES_ homeowner's landscapes be not less than 80% GRASS.

So my 26th visit to #HeadbangersOpenAir is in the books … and it was fantastic as always!
Lovely people, nice weather, great food (with lotsa veggie and vegan options). Superp location, chilled vibes, good sound. And lotsa kick-ass #heavymetal bands on stage – plus one total trainwreck that was unintentionally hilarious at least. I guess it won't come as a big surprise to you that I'm talking about Agent Steel here …
Cheers to Thomas, Jürgen, and the #HOA crew for putting up this wonderful fest. See you all again next year – banging our heads to mighty Triumpher, Attic, and the many other cool bands that'll play! 🤘
