I think I've become addicted to Billie Eilish' latest album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT.
It surprised me. I tend to listen to a variety of music, depending on my mood or the time of day. But recently, nothing else could keep me listening, I just kept going back to this. So either my mood simply hasn't changed, or the album is just so incomprehensibly good!
Anyway, the CD and Vinyl should arrive soon...

El naturalismo representa la realidad (la de cada persona en cada momento). Aparte está el ser natural. Billie Eilish es ambas cosas, lo que la hace punk, una verdadera punky que compone y canta a puerta cerrada junto a su hermano y publicita solo música, fuera de polémicas en redes o medios.
Lo de cantar susurrando estuvo bien pero estaba cantado (ejem...) que poco iba a durar. Gracias a la vida. Hubiese sido una pena con la versatilidad que tiene su voz, sobre todo para entonar sones latinos y jazz.
Billie ha ido creciendo y su música, sus letras mayormente, han seguido el mismo ascendente sin presunción ni anuncio. Ha hecho lo que sentía en lugar de lo que le aconsejaban. Tanto es así que Hit me hard and soft (es un disco de vaivenes) no respeta la duración que pide TikTok, donde germinan las viralidades actualmente, su coño manda (y habla...). Su queercoño liberado.

I still prefer her debut. This is still pretty good and I prefer it to Happier Than Ever. This'll stand up to multiple plays and is likely to be a grower.

The most impressive instrument throughout though, is Eilish's voice. Her characteristic fry-laden whisper is always apparent, but she also employs a whistly vibrato and all sorts of breathy vocalisations appear in the background (this album will please many an ASMR enthusiast). All in all, this is a confident and fun record that showcases Billie's range, subtlety and sensitivity, and underlines her position as one of pop's most exciting artists.
