Today is the 79th anniversary of Claus von Stauffenberg's sadly failed attempt to kill Adolf Hitler & remove Germany's Nazi regime.

Monster Hitler was only slightly wounded, because one idiot moved Stauffenberg's briefcase, which contained explosives away from Hitler's place, behind a table leg, so that the Nazi dictator didn't get hit by the full force of the detonation.
The guy, who had moved the briefcase was killed & two other persons.
Stauffenberg & some other conspirators were executed the following night, after their attempt to overthrow the Nazi regime finally failed.
