#bikepacking trip, day #9. We descended from the plateau to Rjukan, the final hairpins proving quite challenging due to the loose rocks and steepness. After camping we took a bus to Vemork museum and hitchhiked back. 56 km.

Rule of thumb
(ie hitch-hiking)

The bigger the car, the more expensive the car the less likely you are to get a lift.

The smaller the car, the cheaper the car (especially if it is a clapped out old thing held together by bits of string driven by an equally clapped out old driver held together with bits of string) the more likely you are to get a lift.

(Been doing a lot of hitching these past few weeks)

• Leftover food from restraunts
• Selling cookies for donations
• Couch surfing when possible

💡Sharing this for people to show how people can do anything without money, donations were monetary but people who donated just wanted to help if they didn't have money they would have helped with food or housing or whatever its about the feeling compassion and help.
