As a study room for the SICP study group, I'm very excited to say that LM slid us the @dump of ken's generic classroom, which was used at lots of educational MOOs, and another wonderful friend showed me a still-online-but-the-wizard-has-been-inactive-a-long-time educational MOO with the literal historical classroom instance there we can use (the seminar room). -

Suddenly imagining a bunch of depictions of #Jesus with #HistoricallyAccurate #nudity, like he's carrying the cross without the loincloth added in, or he's wearing a robe and it's open enough to see his circumcised Jesus-penis.
People forget that most people, especially the "commoners" that Jesus walked amongst, didn't worry about that sort of thing back then.

Franz #Schubert's "Arpeggione" #sonata wasn't composed for cello or viola & modern piano (as it is usually played), but for the #arpeggione, a short-lived musical instrument (like a bowed guitar), and of course #pianoforte... While modern transcriptions are beautiful, it's still a *different* pleasure to hear an #historicallyaccurate rendition by #cellist N.
