I thought of this video when
@Erzbet posted #HistoricalConcepts as a #KpopMonday theme, but I decided that the mere adoption of vaguely hanbokish outfits did not justify tagging the video as '''historical".

Nevertheless, I decided to post it here for two reasons. In the first place, the outfits make such a refreshing change from the miniskirts and shorts so often worn by idols; I like the movement of the fabric around their covered legs here.

I quite like the song itself, especially the middle eastern touch, but "Jungle" is by no means BVNDIT's best song. That prize should be awarded to "Dumb", a performance video of which I will attach to this post as a response. That brings me for my second reason for posting; I don't want this now disbanded group to slip into oblivion. Even in the heavily processed vocals of "Jungle", you can hear some of the deeper tones that made this group's singing such a distinctive pleasure in kpop girl group listening.
