Amersfoort, Lieve Vrouwenkerkhof, zaterdag 29 november om 10:00 CET

In Amersfoort, op De Lievevrouwenkerkhof, wordt op zaterdag 29 en zondag 30 november een auto getoond vol kogelgaten: een replica van de Kia Picanto waarin de 5-jarige Hind Rajab uit Gaza-Stad met haar familie probeerde te vluchten.

Het voertuig werd beschoten door het Israëlische bezettingsleger en haar oom, haar tante en haar drie neven en nichten werden in de auto vermoord. Hind en haar oudere nicht leefden nog en belden de Palestijnse Rode Halve Maan. Ze vertelden dat een Israëlische tank had geschoten. Tijdens het telefoongesprek smeekte Hind om hulp terwijl de tank dichterbij kwam. Even later werd ook haar nicht doodgeschoten. Hind bleef alleen achter, nog steeds aan de lijn, tot ook zij werd vermoord.

335 kogel gaten.

Het telefoongesprek, waarin het meisje te horen is en om hulp smeekt, zal te horen zijn bij deze replica.

De ambulance die onderweg was om haar te redden werd ook beschoten door SRL en geraakt door een raket, waarbij twee hulpverleners werden vermoord.

Deze replica herinnert aan Hind — en aan alle onschuldige levens die bruut zijn vermoord.
