How I Met Your Mother should have ended after Ted met Victoria in Season 1. She should have been the mother and it could have ended then with "And that's how I met your mother."
End scene.
The series would have been perfect. Would have gone down as the great, pop culture "What if."
Instead...we got what we go. Which was so many highs and lows and an ending I'm still salty about.
But, whatever.
