For those always raining hate on the #Tesla #Cybertruck, I’d like to point out that the new #Toyota #Hilux #EV is rubbish in comparison, in every single way. The #Isuzu #DMax is no better. Even the much more affordable #KGM #Musso outclasses them for most things.

So while I realise there’s probably a certain herd fun to laughing at the stainless steel beast, it quite simply is the best of its class, by quite a margin, bar perhaps Rivian.

I say that as someone who despises of Elon’s antics.

I see Toyota has decided to follow the AU Falcon pathway of making a really bad, against-trend #Design for their new #Hilux.

Washed my car in the first time in months. Losing lots of paint 😢

I'm certainly bucking the trend in this neighborhood for daring to drive around with paint peeling. However, this vehicle will likely run forever (Toyota 4Runner), either until fossil fuel vehicles are outlawed completely in California, or it can be retrofitted as a post-apocalyptic-climate-disaster-film-technical vehicle, whichever comes first. #toyota #hilux
