Gestern haben wir vor dem #StaDDrat die einzelnen Ratsmitglieder befragt, wie sie zu dem Bürgerbegehren für die #DVB und zu dem Antrag von Oberbürgermeister #Hilbert stehen, die Zulässigkeit trotz bereits positiver Einschätzung des Rechtsamtes (!) anzuzweifeln.

Wir hatten von jeder Fraktion mindestens eine Person vor der Kamera und auch wenn die Reaktionen zu einem großen Teil erwartbar waren, sind sie doch interessant und zeigen einiges auf.
Auch wenn der Antrag von Dirk Hilbert angenommen wurde, auch von mir an dieser Stelle ein Danke an alle Stadträt*innen, die sich für das Begehren eingesetzt haben. Und an euch alle: Der Kampf um den #ÖPNV geht weiter, die Abstimmung war nur eine von vielen Schlachten. Es ist noch nichts vorbei.

Gestern haben wir vor dem #StaDDrat die einzelnen Ratsmitglieder befragt, wie sie zu dem Bürgerbegehren für die #DVB und zu dem Antrag von Oberbürgermeister #Hilbert stehen, die Zulässigkeit trotz bereits positiver Einschätzung des Rechtsamtes (!) anzuzweifeln.

Wir hatten von jeder Fraktion mindestens eine Person vor der Kamera und auch wenn die Reaktionen zu einem großen Teil erwartbar waren, sind sie doch interessant und zeigen einiges auf.
Auch wenn der Antrag von Dirk Hilbert angenommen wurde, auch von mir an dieser Stelle ein Danke an alle Stadträt*innen, die sich für das Begehren eingesetzt haben. Und an euch alle: Der Kampf um den #ÖPNV geht weiter, die Abstimmung war nur eine von vielen Schlachten. Es ist noch nichts vorbei.

Es ist der nächste Feldzug von Oberbürgermeister #Hilbert gegen die #DVB: Er möchte das #Bürgerbegehren zur Rettung der DVB verhindern. Durch seinen aktuellen Bemühungen würden nicht nur die Stimmen derer, die für das Begehren unterschrieben haben, verloren gehen, sondern es würde uns allen die Möglichkeit genommen, über die DVB an der Wahlurne abzustimmen. Dabei geht es hier nicht um fehlende Finanzierungsvorschläge, sondern um eine demokratische Grundsatzfrage. @mswdresden dröselt in diesem Video den komplexen Sachverhalt auf.

Je lis la page Wikipédia de David Hilbert, et je suis frappé de comment l’effet de Trump et du trumpisme sur les sciences aux US ressemble aux effets du nazisme en Allemagne. S’il y a bien eu des ingénieurs brillants pendant la période nazie, j’ignorais comment les mathématiques ont été sinistrées. Extrait.
Avec l’arrivée au pouvoir de Hitler en 1933, Ludwig Bieberbach, affilié au parti nazi, est propulsé au sommet des mathématiques allemandes et encourage des mathématiques « aryennes ou allemandes » (Deutsche Mathematik). Les professeurs juifs, désormais exclus de l’enseignement, perdent leur poste l’un après l’autre. L’institut de mathématique de Göttingen est bientôt démantelé et son prestige international sapé, au grand dam de Hilbert. Hermann Weyl, qui avait finalement été choisi pour lui succéder, doit quitter le pays, Emmy Noether, Richard Courant, Edmund Landau et Otto Blumenthal aussi. Paul Bernays, collaborateur de Hilbert en logique mathématique et coauteur avec lui de Grundlagen der Mathematik, un important livre paru en deux volumes en 1934 et en 1939, quitte l’Allemagne à la suite des pressions des nazis. Leur ouvrage était la suite du livre publié par Hilbert et Ackermann : Principes de logique théorique (1928).
Environ une année plus tard, Hilbert, invité à un banquet, est assis à côté du ministre nazi de l’Éducation Bernhard Rust. À la question de Rust : « Comment se trouvent les mathématiques à Göttingen maintenant qu’elle est libre de l’influence juive ? », Hilbert réplique : « Des mathématiques à Göttingen ? Il n’y en a plus guère. »
Lorsque Hilbert meurt en 1943, les nazis ont complètement restructuré l’université, tous les Juifs et conjoints de Juifs forcés de partir, certains ayant réussi à fuir l’Allemagne, d’autres déportés. Environ une douzaine de personnes assistent à ses funérailles, deux seulement étant des ex-collègues. Sur sa tombe à Göttingen, on peut lire cette épitaphe : « Wir müssen wissen, wir werden wissen. »

Cued by Kant's idea regarding the function of concepts in general, Peirce locates his categories on the highest levels of abstraction able to provide a meaningful measure of traction in practice. Whether successive grades of conceptions converge to an absolute unity or not is a question to be pursued as inquiry progresses and need not be answered in order to begin.
