Last night we checked out a relatively new pub in Point Arena, called "The Record".

If you find yourself traveling through on highway 1, check it out. They had a local cover band playing classic rock. They ended their set with a long version of The Doors, LA Woman. At the end the entire pub emptied outside to applaud the band.

Great energy for a Saturday night. We need more of that.

Damn!! All i wanted was a cheap commute to work to dodge the notorious Bay Area traffic… Went to shop to get the cheapest Royal Enfield classic 350… but then I test rode the #himalayan450 and thought ok let me splurge a few more dollars and have some fun during my commutes - after all … I am due for my midlife crisis ;-) But then, I did not expect it to be SO MUCH fun that I ended up going on a 200 mile ride down #highway1…. And also down memory lane to all those long road trips crisscrossing southern India with my uncle…

We have been planning our bucket list road-trip to Prudhoe Bay… but now, I am wondering if I should do the trip twice… once on 4 wheels and again on 2 … 😬
