Set a new #hiscore for Qix. Discovered the "slow" button. Did I know 38 years ago? I can't remember. It seems I am the only one amongst my friends who like Qix. It has different animations after you die depending on your score like Tetris. If you like Qix, try Volfied. #gameboy #taito #highscore

Just tried out #GNOME #Highscore by @alice, and it's really quite incredible. Just drop a ROM in a folder, Highscore picks it up, and you're good to go! No fiddling about trying to find the right emulator or anything, just drop it and play! Games seem to get frozen in the background, and resume right where you left off, and the touch controls are great!

Wishlist (not sure if these are possible):
- Customizable on screen controls: I'd love to be able to move around or enlarge buttons.
- Generic desktop launching: It'd be great to be able to drop a .desktop file into the library folder and have it launch with onscreen controls. This would open up the possibility of easily emulating many simple steam games, like platformers.Thanks for making this, Alice, you've done a wonderful job!

Tried out Highscore (formerly GNOME Games) on my OnePlus 6T via the Flatpak developer builds under GNOME Mobile — and wow, it runs beautifully on a touch-based mobile form factor! 💜🎮
Without a physical gamepad, it shows a virtual one on screen. But as soon as I connect my 8BitDo Micro controller, it switches seamlessly — virtual gamepad disappears and I'm playing with real controls. Just works™.
