The gritters in Scotland all have names, but not sure this is a real one. 😂
For those outwith Scotland and unfamiliar with the many branches of the Christian church here, it's a play on the Wee Frees, famous for their austere behaviour, and doing nothing on the Sabbath.

I love the colours in this pic, which I took just along from the Coruisk Memorial Hut on Skye. With the eye of faith, you can just about make out dots around the edge of Eilean Glas, a tiny, rocky island in Loch na Cuilce, near the mighty Cuillins. Each is a basking seal. A lovely calm place to be.

Minutes before taking this, I had rounded the top of a hill and startled a golden eagle on the ground. No photos, but I can tell you that watching him take off, not 20 feet from where I stood, was breathtaking
