I learned this truth where love was hidden to shield an old anchor (family duty) from a new engine (a Sacred Alliance). That hiding is pocketing (aka stashing): keeping a partner separate.
We talk about Anti-Fragile (stronger from chaos) and Coherence (doing things right, flow).
You cannot build a coherent, #AntiFragile life on a hidden foundation.
Hiding love often obeys an old system: culture, religion, or parents. That system demands your sacred energy remain an owed resource.
A Higher Love is celebrated out loud. It is public, honoured, and respected (Energy Gain). A hidden love is a secret system that consumes you (Energy Loss).
Honouring your connection out loud acts as an energetic shield. This is the difference between surviving and scaling your life.

Another great choon, and one I actually saw performed live in 1993 at Birmingham.
My all time favourite band... Depeche Mode.
I really need to see them live again at some point... Although it won't be the same without Andy Fletcher... another one gone too soon
