There are those who argue that #Palaeolithic & #Mesolithic #societies were #egalitarian & #pacific - practically #Utopian, indeed (I very much doubt the truth of this thesis) - but #humans have definitely organised themselves in increasingly #hierarchic & #inegalitarian societies from the #Neolithic onwards.
