This summer I bought a 1998 Toyota HiAce Japanese domestic market van. It's an 8-seater vehicle, and the first passenger row seats can be turned around. It's been an absolute pleasure to own and drive even though it is a ridicuous purchase.
I've been able to cart all of my friends and our camping gear around in one vehicle. It's been great for our Deaf and and hard of hearing friends who can now face each other and sign while in the rear two rows.

Very hard to pick just one. My focus would be something that can be imported into the states.The Pao and Autozam are really cool but if I was too pick one to own my current choice would be a HiAce van or similar.
