Freya 2 adds Forkbeard and adds gain choices for both the solid state differential output and the hollow state (valve) differential output. This turntable seems to be dead as a doornail, suggesting the fuse has popped as well.
I haven't gotten around to replacing the pot which I suspect is worn out, but a couple of years back, I *did* find the repair manual and a photo of the pot in question.
Today, I stumbled on what look to be, suitable replacement parts: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/166186482597
I'd prefer to buy a known-brand part from RS/Element14, but this at least fits electrically and form-factor wise.

Пока мой ответ сводится к следующему: при условиях, в которых усилители тестируются и специфицируются (резистивная нагрузка, стабильный синусоидальный сигнал, уровень ниже порога клиппинга), компетентные усилители действительно сложно отличить на слух. Одна-единственная цифра, замеренная на одной частоте, при одной мощности и на одной нагрузке, говорит правду только об этой точке измерения . Однако спецификации умалчивают о другом: реальная нагрузка отличается от простого резистора; зависимость искажений от уровня сигнала и их характер влияют на то, что мы слышим; демпфирование динамика определяется не только усилителем; внутренняя схема представляет собой ряд компромиссов; а музыка регулярно выходит за пределы линейного диапазона усилителя. Сейчас мы заглянем внутрь усилителя, рассмотрим выходной каскад и то, как каждое решение на уровне схемотехники влияет на спектр искажений и зависимость их от уровня сигнала. Разберём и обратную связь — что она убирает и что добавляет. Посмотрим, что происходит у шин питания, и вернёмся к вопросу, с которого начали.

This Akai AM-2200 amplifier from the late 70s has no power-on delay or protection circuitry from the factory. More expensive or later amps had such circuitry, resulting in the well-known relay click after power-on.
When I got this amp, it had several transistors in the driving stage very marginal, but even after replacing them, it still created quite a loud thump and prolonged (1s or so) of DC on power-on. During the repair process, it even blew one of my (albeit sacrificial) speakers.
So now it has a protection/power-on delay circuit including a relay and fast-off opening the relay before the shutdown can add another thump. It was quite the adventure as I had to learn KiCAD along the way and did my first custom PCB order. But now it works splendidly, and I am very happy with the result.

Der polnische #HiFi #Receiver #Unitra #Diora AWS 303 wurde auch in der #Bundesrepublik als #elta 2700 vertrieben. Er wurde hierbei etwas abgespeckt, aber auch modernisiert. So empfängt der #Tuner UKW von 87 - 108 MHz statt 65 - 74 MHz, die beiden Kurzwellenbänder fehlen jedoch. Der #Verstärker besitzt nun einen CD-Anschluss. Hierbei handelt es sich jedoch aber nur um eine Überbrückung des Entzerrer-Vorverstärkers.

В третьей — что качество воспроизведения низких частот сухие цифры характеристик не отражают. Четвёртая спустилась глубже — до самого динамика: идеального решения не существует, а ошибки проектирования после покупки уже не исправить. Пятая ( ч.1 и ч.2 ) была посвящена искажениям: что это такое, почему порядок гармоники важнее её абсолютной величины, и почему слух отзывается на эти явления совсем не так, как измерительный прибор. На тот момент все закончилось заменой усилителя, но проблема с высокими частотами осталась на месте. С усилителями получилась занятная картина — эти устройства незаметно присутствовали фоном практически с самого начала цикла. Уже в первой статье я сознательно отложил разговор о них приняв допущение об их невиновности по сравнению с динамиками: измерительный стенд, синусоида, резистивная нагрузка и красивые цифры. Позже, в пятой, тема снова возникла вскользь — упоминались выходной каскад класса B, режекторный фильтр и мысль о том, чтобы управлять током вместо напряжения. Wir haben kürzlich einen Beomaster 700 Receiver in Zahlung genommen.
Im Original ist dieser receiver von 1969 mit dunkelbraunem Furnier ausgestattet.
Dies war aber massiv beschädigt.
