The B-Ark except filled with all the jerks of this world.
OR
The B-Ark, and we non-jerks get on it.
Either one would be good for me right now.
(What do you mean, of course I count myself as a non-jerk)

#ThreeGoodThings of yesterday:
😀 went to the cinema with friends*
😀 fixed the car wing mirror again (the first time the mirror back had the wrong colour)
😀 cooked spaghetti with salmon sauce
* We saw the German film #Zweigstelle and had some good laughs. It's also very #spiritual and #shamanic with hints of #HHGTG and #terrypratchett

Reading about the impact of AI power consumption, I suddenly thought of the part in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy when Arthur causes all of the Heart of Gold’s computer power to be diverted into a really trivial task and as a result the ship can’t deal with a deadly missile attack
This seems like an appropriate metaphor for all the world’s computing power being diverted to generate meeting minutes of random quality while it really would be better applied to the climate crisis

Every time I make the mistake of drinking coffee from a Keurig K-cup I am reminded of the science fiction future where everything you eat or drink is a weak facsimile of the actual thing, because it's being assembled from replicator pellets rather than made in the traditional way.
Shades of #douglasadams characters in #HHGTG trying to teach the ship's computer how to brew a proper british cup of tea :)

"Brain the size of a planet, and they leave me out here at the end of the universe walking slowly for three years just to press a button. Call that job satisfaction? I don't."

After a period of total boredom -- especially on Sunday afternoons -- Bowerick Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged decided to insult everyone in the entire fediverse individually.
In chronological order.
