[Dans les sociétés matriarcales,] il n’y a aucune forme de domination. Aucun groupe ne domine un autre, aucun sexe ne domine un autre. Lorsqu’il faut prendre des décisions politiques, tout le monde se réunit en conseil, même les enfants à partir de 13 ans. Aucune voix n’est laissée de côté. Le point important est que chaque décision est prise par consensus."#Question : Comment analysez-vous cette résistance par rapport à l’idée des sociétés matriarcales ?
#HGA : "Je pense que, lorsque les gens entendent le terme « matriarcat », la plupart s’en font une idée complètement erronée : ils pensent que les femmes dominent, ce qui est totalement faux. Il y a une véritable égalité, aucune domination des femmes. Ce terme « matriarcat » dérange certains, fascine d’autres. Cela signifie qu’ils sentent qu’il a un contenu politique, et ce contenu politique consiste en un profond rejet des valeurs patriarcales dans lesquelles nous vivons. Cela crée donc chez eux de l’angoisse, du rejet, car ils se sentent défiés.
