Watched #Avatar in #HFR and both my kids and I agreed that the 24 fps shots felt like lagging to our gaming-centric eyes and we all would have preferred all the shots to be 48fps. My wife was a bit meh to it all.

Going to see the new Avatar movie tonight. I didn't love the Hobbit at 48fps, it felt like an awkward framerate. But maybe Cameron's found some way to make it work. Too bad it's not in 120, that looked great for Gemini Man.

Either way I'm excited for a 3D visual thrill ride 😎

Apparently #VIArail completely screwed up their storm preparation: train stuck for 15 hours, no communication, literally no non-reply tweets for a week.

Watching several elements of the #TTC degrade over the last few years has been frustrating, but I think the ongoing multi-decade multi-faceted destruction of VIA is actually more upsetting. So damaging to sustainability to be making rail worse instead of better, while politicians trumpet the next #HFR study.

Pro Tip: Don't read any positive reviews for #Avatar2. Only read negative reviews. It will temper your expectations AND prepare you for the 24 to 48fps back and forth that could be more obvious to some than others. #avatar #thewayofwater #hfr
