  6. I was looking at the #EMFcamp badge for too long and now want to make it walk. If anyone wants to also work on this hexpansion, please let me know - maybe we can have an hexapod army in 2028.

    This is a CH32V003 running code by @deshipu - a clever I2C to servo bridge. There's an INA219 current and voltage measure chip for the servos.

    Tried to document as much as I can on the PCB itself.

  16. Oh no. #emfcamp is coming up and I dropped my #tildagon badge onto one of my #hexpansion, ripping off the hexpansion connector, a trace and pad and several small components. 😱

    The first re-usable badge and I trash the one part that is supposed to stay the same over the years..

    Managed to #pcbrepair most of it though, 👍 by glueing the trace and pad back into place and redo everything else with solder paste. Verified electrical connectivity.

    Now I just have to wait for the replacement parts. 😅

    This is in the Tildagon app store as apps.badge.emfcamp.org/apps/00, but requires a breakout hexpansion as per the README.

    NB still need to add calibration mode, but it's a start! Some further ideas in the README - PRs welcome :blobthanks:

    I quite like the idea of logging CO2 by GPS (or wifi?) geolocation, perhaps over the network, and displayed on a/the #EMFCamp map. Crowdsourced #Datenzwerg could happen :gnomeHey:

    Now to hit the #Kicad and see if I can figure out how to design an all-in-one PCB. Or perhaps a PCB that can easily be mated with the common CO2 sensor boards, the same way the Tildagon screen attaches to the front plate?
