Business logic belongs to developers. Glue code does not ✊

1) Business logic carries intent, rules, and knowledge. Only human judgment and design matter.

2) The infrastructure layer is largely made of:
- repetitive adapter code,
- framework-specific wiring,
- predictable mappings and configuration.

👉 Is it realistic to consider infrastructure as something that should be generated, rather than written and maintained by hand?

I’m curious to hear your perspective.

#Hexagonal #Architecture folks: how do you deal with the fact that a repository implementation needs access to aggregate implementation classes to materialize them, incl. referenced value objects etc. That makes all those types end up in a secondary port, doesn't it? Funky shaped stickers area all well and good but if you make them smaller and "tilable" then people are more likely to include yours on their laptop. I started mocking with a generic backend. Looks annoying.

The mocked generic is becoming a spaghetti horror.

"functional core" - and then it clicked.

I separated just the buffer manager, made it generic over buffer type. I can now feed it fake buffers and test it.
