There's actually some research on the latter question. As one reviewer put it, despite the popularity of rape fantasies, there are approximately zero people who report actually enjoying being raped, no matter who committed the crime. So no, you would not enjoy being raped by Neil Gaiman.

There might be positions from which to validly defend Gaiman as an artist, but there are not valid positions to defend rape/sexual assault. If your advocacy for your superfavoriteomg author leads you to blame victims, excuse/justify sexual assault, or criticize people who don't do those things, you are wrong. Just completely wrong.
