#fios is down in #herndonva - a hub has problems. I miss twitter when you could just say #verizon #verizon #verizon and burn some hell notes and a customer service rep would appear.

Good thing I moved to Herndon from Takoma Park, looks like it will be underwater or an island.

Okay, you need to be 230 feet above sea level to avoid the oceans post-polarcap melt.

Not clear what is a safe buffer for being above the coastline.

The polar caps are melting (entirely), probably within my own lifetime, does anyone have the coastline maps to show where Herndon, VA will end up?

Many maps just show some blurry pixels about the new coastline being close to DC

My feed only has a whiff of place because it is *IMPOSSIBLE* to find accounts by account holders city. So I'm going to experiment with following #herndonva #restonva #fairfaxva #dmv (which is sometimes about department of motor vehicles), but not #nova because that is all over the place. On twitter my accounts generally felt like a place in the real world.
