I just watched that new #MumboJumbo video where he talks about his process of moving to France. And yea, it's absolutely beautiful cinematographically and I'm genuinely happy for him. But it did leave a weird aftertaste to see someone be able to literally go from finding an ad for a house for sale, to closing that sale with the realtor, within 25 minutes. Without even looking at the house.

Like, how filthy rich do you have to be to not even visit or inspect the house you're buying, and to just trust a realtor? Do you not care about the cost of the renovations? Whether the roof is leaky or whatever?

That kinda left a strange aftertaste in my mouth. Some people are so unfathomably rich that they can just choose to buy a chalet in another country on a whim and move their life there. #Mumbo is a great guy and pretty down to earth, but it's a harsh reminder that some of us have to choose between 'food or no food' every day, while others can just buy a house a country over and drive there with their fianceé in a van and a Mk3 Supra.

I wish life was as nice for everyone.

watching Naruto now makes me realize how similar Etho and Kakashi actually are, and it makes it so absurd knowing Etho didn't watch Naruto and thus he didn't pick his skin because of Kakashi but because it was one of the most detailed skins (second layer) back in the day

they have the same energy? shy but confident. just two humble kings.

Getting excited about the #Hermitcraft #GamersOutreach event coming up 11 and 12 April. I just noticed something in the announcements of events... #ZombieCleo is in Silly Games and Hermitmaster, and they are going to run an in-person Blood On The Clocktower game. Does this mean Cleo is going to be at the event in Seattle? Cleo has never revealed their face. This could be a huge #CleoLore event, if confirmed Tam845 might not sleep at all that weekend.

I thought #Hermitcraft was one of those teen youtube things!! Like the ones I grew up with! A bunch of teenage and young adult youtubers with too much time on their hands playing #Minecraft, or something. I even felt a little silly when I considered watching it!

But it turns out that it's genuinely a middle-aged people thing now! 😭

I'm genuinely so devastated, I feel so old. I thought my silly mildly homoerotic youtube gaming series full of memes and silly nonsense was, like, something by and for teens to early-20s! Like me! Ahem.

It's so obvious in hindsight. Of course the people I watched in 2012 are now at least 13 years older than back then, so most likely in their 30s.

But it can't be...

Like, all of the #Hermitcraft people are just how I remember all the #Minecraft YouTubers!
They're playful, whimsical, fun, quirky and a bit childish in a good way.

I had a crush on #Grian all the way back when I was a kid. He has a cute voice and a cute personality! And same for some others. It's all very gay.

But…

I just found out that the person I'm watching the current HC season at, #MumboJumbo, just turned 30.
And that he's the second youngest one.

Like, I know 30 isn't old in isolation. But it made me look up what everyone else's ages were. It couldn't be right, could it?

Grian is 32?!! Some hermits are retirement age?!

I thought they were all like 17–29 year old twinks!! I looked up some pictures and some of those cute funny Minecraft beans who I mentally write #fanfiction about look like suburban dads!! 😭😭 Most of them are, like, straight up old men!

Are we all this old now?? Are the silly YouTubers I grew up watching now also, like, in their 40s??

I swear to god someone stop the calendar.
