Must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky – Hendon Beach, on the south side of Sunderland's coastline, perhaps a little more off the beaten track when compared to its more popular neighbours of Roker and Seaburn, but still worthy of a capture through my camera lens.
This view is from the end of the sea wall/promenade, looks towards Salterfen Rocks.
This is the start of the Durham Heritage Coast, which runs south from here, via Ryhope, Seaham, Dawdon, Hawthorn Hive, Easington, Horden, Blackhall and Crimdon, all the way to Hartlepool Headland.

An early start today for a #Wander along the #Glamorgan #HeritageCoast from #Southerndown #Beach to #MonknashBeach and back along the clifftops. Worth it for the #Sunrise alone

Ticked off another short section of the #WalesCoastalPath today, Not the prettiest start at #Aberthaw #PowerStation, but photographic in it's own way. A giant Rubik Cube and Die was a surprise spot, before the usual impressive coastal views of the #Glamorgan #HeritageCoast kicked in. Finished at #LlantwitMajor #beach

Took a short walk this morning from #NashPoint to #ColHuwPoint (aka ##LlantwitMajor #Beach). It's a great section of the #WalesCoastalPath with a #Lighthouse #WW2 #PillBox(es), the famous #StDonatsCastle and, of course, some great views.
