Grow lemon balm in a cracked mug of soil on any sill that catches light. Pinch the leaves fresh, steep five minutes in hot water. A tea that costs the price of a single seed packet. There's a particular light in a kitchen where someone has decided their own jangled nerves are worth a homegrown cup. The steam rises.

Mullein safety note: some people are said to be sensitive to the tiny hairs on the fuzzy leaves. These people will want to filter their mullein tea through a coffee filter. Online herbals usually say this is mandatory but I have never had a problem with unfiltered mullein tea personally.

* 5 à 6 cm de gingembre, haché grossièrement en petits morceaux
* beaucoup de miel (genre 250mL+ minimum)
* une demi-cuillérée de curcuma en poudre
* une pincée de cayenne
* du jus de citron, au gout (j’aime beaucoup de citron — j’aime aussi ajouter le zeste de citron au gingembre)Faire bouillir dans 1L d’eau. Une fois à ébullition, baisser le feu et laisser infuser pendant 5-6 minutes. Filtrer les morceaux de gingembre et de zeste, ajouter un peu de jus de citron, et boire bien au chaud.
