Two 6.3-magnitude #Earthquakes in #Afghanistan Nearly 200 #Fatalities & ~600 injured acc/to the chief of the regional hospital in #HeratProvince, where the #quake struck hardest. The number of casualties is expected to rise as search & rescue efforts continue.
The #quakes were followed by several large #aftershocks, devastating entire villages in the western part of the country.
