Well, we now know how to stop #airborne #pandemics.

We stop it with #HEPA filters, #CorsiRosenthalBoxes. And with #N95 / #N99 / #P100 #elastomeric #respirator #masks.

But right now DOCTORS are blithely mass-infecting patients -- and of course nowhere else is doing anything either -- so our society is basically doing nothing and helping the virus spread.

We should try doing something.

I get really terrible PSAs from government agencies on my Facebook feed.

I comment on all of them telling them they need to talk about how #CovidIsAirborne, #InfluenzaIsAirborne, #RSVIsAirborne, it's stopped by #N95, #N99, #P100 masks, #HEPA filters, #CorsiRosenthalBoxes, and I drop a link to https://its-airborne.org .

Maybe I'll reach someone. I'm now doing more public health work than the CDC, WHO, or the state health department, which is ridiculous.

Sadly, that's magical thinking. Such vaccines don't exist and may never exist.

The pandemic ends when we #CleanTheAir with #HEPA and #CorsiRosenthalBoxes, and people use #P100 and #N95 respirators.

We stop cholera with clean water -- NOT with vaccines, which aren't good enough.

We stop Covid with clean air -- NOT with vaccines, which aren't good enough.

We don't drink dirty water, why do we breathe dirty air?

They also work against #Flu & #RSV.

Yes, hospitalizations are up. Hospitalizations are a lagging indicator, of course -- you're seeing it in NYC first.

Yes, people are dying from #Covid at alarming rates nationwide -- the death rate overall is still 10% higher than it was in 2019! -- and it's rising.

Same old instructions apply: get a really snug-fitting #elastomeric #N95 or #P100 #respirator #mask, wear it whenever out of your home, install #HEPA filters or #CorsiRosenthalBoxes at home & work...

@underthestars AbromeEd and an independent school in Brisbane stopped in-school transmission by using enough portable #HEPA and #CorsiRosenthalBoxes, along with some masks -- more than a year ago now. It just works.

This is great -- and it is still very much an explainer for scientists. We need something much simpler for the general public. And we need more repetition, so...

#CovidIsAirborne. It spreads like perfume, and sort of like cigarette smoke, hitching a ride on tiny bubbles of water. It is removed from the air by #N95, #P100, and similar masks. It is removed from the air by #HEPA filters and #CorsiRosenthalBoxes.

Same instructions for people in #China as for people anywhere else: wear a #KN95 mask which fits well, or a #P100, or similar. Put #HEPA filters or #CorsiRosenthalBoxes everywhere.

Request enough #HEPA filters or #CorsiRosenthalBoxes to clean the air every 5 minutes. Also ask that masks be required, and that #N95s be handed out to those who don't have them.
