最早看易卜生是因为《玩偶之家》，当时找到的是一个合集本，里面有易卜生四个还是五个剧作，看完后印象最深刻的反而是最后一个故事《人民公敌》，可能是看的时候年纪还比较小，当时纯感动和悲愤去了。
现在听这个剧场版，情绪就直接多了——毁灭吧，别拦着了！

Brand ist ein Stück des norwegischen Dramatikers Henrik Ibsen. Es handelt sich um eine Tragödie in Versform, die 1865 geschrieben und am 24. März 1867 in Stockholm, Schweden, uraufgeführt wurde. Brand ist ein Priester, der die Konsequenzen seiner Entscheidungen akzeptiert und fest entschlossen ist, das „Richtige“ zu tun. Er glaubt in erster Linie an den Willen des Menschen und lebt nach der Devise „alles oder nichts“. Kompromisse zu schließen ist daher schwierig oder fragwürdig. Brands Überzeugungen machen ihn einsam, denn die Menschen in seiner Umgebung können oder wollen seinem Beispiel nicht folgen, wenn er auf die Probe gestellt wird. Er ist ein junger Idealist, dessen Hauptziel es ist, die Welt oder zumindest die Seelen der Menschen zu retten, aber sein Urteil über andere ist hart und ungerecht.

"That's the moment when, one recent evening, a #ClimateActivist stood up from his seat in the audience. It was during a press night for the current production running at Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway.
"'I object to the silencing of scientists!' said Nate Smith as he walked toward the stage wearing a T-shirt bearing the logo of #ExtinctionRebellionNYC. He was the first of three members of the #ClimateChange #activism group to disrupt the show that night."
