#Henrico County, VA, Manager John Vithoulkas sent an email to all county employees asking them to conserve energy by turning off unused lights and computers, using blinds to lessen heat buildup, and curbing or stopping the usage of heavy loads like space heaters.

My home town in the news again for the usual reasons, system racism. 🫠
In this latest episode a nurse at Henrico Doctor's is accused of beating newborns for the simple reason that they were born Black one child died. They had seven newborns over the last few years with unexplained broken bones 🤬
Very eyebrow raising that courts are supposed to be open to the public yet they didn't allow media in at all(even without cameras) for this case.

I am currently interested in causal inference methods and I have been applying the models I developed in some child psychiatric phenotypes using mostly the #ABCD study data.
My hobby is #running. I usually run about 15k a week in the streets or parks around my house in #Henrico. But recently relapsed in smoking and my performance and frequency has been super unstable. Still trying to stop.
