Having easily got #meshcore working on #HeltecV3, I'm having ALL sorts of issues trying to get #meshtastic working on my two devices. I can't connect to either via #Bluetooth (connects then drops) but I have managed to get one of them to connect via WiFi so I can power it it up independently of phone/computer. 2nd device is stubbornly refusing to connect to my WiFi :-(

How did I miss the existence of MeshCore for so long? 😇
Looking forward to playing with this. Heltec v3 looks like an easy starter for it. The v4 may have excess power limit issues, but looks good for a go-bag. (If things have got bad enough that this is your main comms, who cares about power issues?)
Planning two devices. First as a BT5 connect to get it running with a phone. Second as a repeater to extend the coverage.

Нужна помощь знатаков. У становил в свою ноду энкодер EC11. Оно вроде бы и работает, но переключение работает крайне рандомно. Кто-нибудь знает, как это можно пофиксить?
Я пробовал перепрошивать ноду, припаиваться до других GPIO пинов, припаивать другие энкодеры - ничего не помогло.

Продолжаю дорабатывать свою ноду. Скомпилировал прошивку с кириллическим шрифтом, так как до этого были проблемы с её отображением. Сейчас всё нормально отображается.
Столкнулся с особенностью ESP32, что во время зарядки цп начинает не слабо греться. Конечно данному цп можно работать при температуре до 105°C, но я всё же докупил небольшой радиатор. Нагрев значительно уменьшился.
Также я остался недоволен временем автономной работы - его хоть и хватает на 4 пары, но всё же для портативной ноды это как-то неочень. По этой причине я закупился компонентами для сборки Faketec. Все нужные компоненты у меня будут на руках до 2 декабря включительно.

Установил батарею в свою ноду. Хватает примерно часов на 8.

Like I mentioned, I don't know a lot about #MeshNetworks, but I'd love to know what others think of the #MeshTastic systems. This seems to be a pretty up-to-date guide on how to set up a Mesh network (there wasn't a date on the piece, but they referenced QR codes). Personally, I'd rather go the #HamRadio route, but there's a few hoops to jump through for that (like the Ham radio test and licensing).
