I want access to libby and hoopla.

I want the ability to save pdf and epub files to it.

I do not want browser or bloatware. No games. No message capability.

I want to get my kid off the tablet for reading. There's too much distraction.

Hey,

once we saw a youtube video about strange videos the creator found.

One segment that we cant find any more showed a filmed tour through a bunker or a similar empty building.

It was very interesting because today, this would be titled as liminal space video. But this was not, because it was a decade old or older.

Can you help us find it?

I mocked up what I remember. Device was this rounded, pear-ish shape. That soft matte black plastic. Screen on the top. Had buttons on the top edges. I think there was an SD slot at the bottom. Maybe buttons on front below screen?

I've lost some weight recently (intentionally and healthy) and now my wedding band is frequently slipping off. It's tungsten, so resizing isn't an option, and the independent artisan who made it closed up shop a couple years ago.

I'd like to stick with tungsten if possible, though I'm also open to titanium or other low-maintenance metals, and would prefer to support independent artists. I'm located in #Seattle if there's anyone local, but also happy to shop online.

I don't need any fancy features, I'll just throw in an old Micro ATX board, a single SATA SSD and a picoPSU.

If anyone wants to trade, I'm sure I have some old hardware that might be interesting. For example, I have two old IBM System x3550 servers that I don't use because they're way too loud. I could probably use their cases but it would be a shame to throw out the rest of their hardware.

@evewrites I agree. I need a break from the house as well as the micromanaged office. Pneumonia twice since July 1, probably from the aged, smelly, leaking office building. Ugh.
