Can anyone recommend a good static site builder for displaying a couple of hundred photographs as a single page? Happy for it to use JS as a lazy-loader to avoid kicking the rate-limiter on my site (if you still can't do that nicely in pure HTML/CSS) but I don't need sub-albums, a lightbox, or anything like that. Just a nice static page that efficiently handles a large number of photos.
I've tried ... many this week and they're all a bit crap at this particular thing.

I want to make a simple choose-your-own-adventure type bot in mastodon with Ink and node.js. I have no experience using node at all.
I'm playing around with the masto.js module, but the docs are a bit over my head. Any tutorials out there I can use?
