With the strength of mountains and the boundless compassion of a mother who knows no impossibility, she bakes our bread using hands that tremble from illness yet overflow with tenderness and a determination to keep us from going hungry.
Every loaf she bakes is infused with her pain and labored breathing, yet she refuses to let us suffer want or complaint; it is as if she is fighting her illness through sheer willpower and her love for us.
The painful truth, however, is that her frail body can no longer endure this; her respiratory condition is worsening, requiring urgent treatment, medical intervention, and a steady supply of medication—costs that far exceed our meager financial means given the harsh circumstances we face. My mother is withering away before our eyes, relying on her exhausted breath to continue caring for us.
To every compassionate heart, to everyone who understands the meaning of "Mother" and the value of her presence in life:

🆘The plea reads:

"O people of kindness and compassion, I write to you with tears in my eyes and the anguish of a grieving mother. This is my little angel, a piece of my soul, living with me in the harshness of a tent and the difficult conditions of displacement.

One dark night, he was bitten by an unknown, poisonous insect, and we didn't realize the extent of the disaster until it was too late. The poison spread through his small leg, and the simple bite turned into a deep, inflamed wound that threatens his life completely (as you can see in the first picture). 😢
The doctors told me with harsh honesty: 'The condition is very critical, the infection is severe, and there is no alternative to urgent surgery to try to save what remains of his leg before gangrene spreads.'

I am a helpless mother, living in a tent that offers no protection from the summer heat or the winter cold, and I cannot afford medicine, let alone the exorbitant costs of surgery, which I cannot afford in these trying times.

My greatest fear is losing my beloved child, and that the doctors will be forced to amputate his little leg to save him." His life! Imagine a child this young living the rest of his life with an amputated leg because of an insect bite in a tent! 😭

I implore you, generous people, those who have the means to help, please don't leave me alone in this nightmare. Please, donate any amount, no matter how small, for it could work a miracle and save my son's leg and his future.

Your donation isn't just money; it's hope, it's life, it's a prayer answered for the healing of a sick person.

Chasing after a water cart should not be a memory of a child who is not yet a year and a half old. 💔

At this age, she was supposed to be learning the names of the things around her, running after her toys, and laughing without thinking about tomorrow. Thirst is not something a child should have to get used to.

Perhaps these details may seem small to those who live far away from these circumstances, but for us, the small details have become life itself.

A full water container.
A bite of food.
A safe place to sleep.
A moment of peace.

Very simple things, but in our days, they have become things that can no longer be taken for granted. 🙏

🙏🇵🇸This assistance is distributed to us by the World Food Programme #WFP two food boxes and one bag of flour as a monthly ration. But because of the blockade, shortages of supplies and funding, we have been receiving it only once every three months. Since the war between Israel and Iran, it has stopped completely.
The ration currently contains a bag of flour; the first box has rice, lentils, salt and tahini/sirij oil; and the second contains canned foods, mainly beans and ground chickpeas, with very little variety.
We are not rejecting this assistance or underestimating its value. We are grateful for everything humanitarian organizations are trying to provide under such difficult circumstances. But when a family has a child suffering from malnutrition, there needs to be some flexibility in the contents of the food ration.
My 7-year-old son Abdullah is classified as malnourished (red status). I update his information and report his condition every time. I have taken him to medical points, where I receive whatever they are able to provide, but many of the nutritional supplements and vitamins appropriate for his age are simply unavailable.
I am struggling to provide Abdullah with the vitamins and healthy food he needs. When I cannot afford them, I sometimes have to take them from the pharmacy on credit and pay later.
Abdullah needs nutritious food suitable for his age and condition—foods rich in protein and energy, appropriate milk, and foods fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, according to the recommendations of specialists.
We are not asking for luxury or extra food simply for the sake of having more. We are asking for the real nutritional needs of a child who has been classified as malnourished.
Families are not all the same, and children's needs are not all the same. Food assistance should not be treated as simply a fixed quantity of food distributed in exactly the same way to everyone. We are human beings, and every child has different needs—especially children suffering from or at risk of malnutrition.
We hope that Abdullah's condition, and the conditions of other children like him, can be taken into consideration and that food assistance can be adapted, in coordination with specialists, to meet their actual nutritional needs.🇵🇸🙏‼️
