Dinner was #McDonalds #HappyMeals for the #HelloKittyGodzilla toy, but also, it is the one fast food chain I still go to on occasion. I worked as a crew trainer at a McD’s as a teen for about a year. My birthday parties as a kid were at the Waipahu McDs and their amazing playground that was phased out. #HelloKitty I really wanted King Gedorah Kero Kero Keroppi, but am happy with HK Godzilla and Badtz Maru Rodan. #kaiju #BadtzMaru

This is Hello Kitty Strawberry Vanilla #soda.
One might expect this to come from Japan, but this specific one was made in Sweden under a license. Many years I invented a decent drink on cruise ships: take some strawberry slush, put some vanilla flavored vodka in it and top it up with Sprite. This is very close to that, sans the alcohol.
A sad part is that there's no strawberries and vanilla extract in it. It's actually apple juice with some lemon juice mixed in it and the rest is artificial. It also has two separate artificial sweeteners in it, which finishes off the "nopety-nope" combo on this one.
I swear I saw this in Japan too, now I need to import some and see if theirs is better.

The weekend shopping had a couple of canned goods that were unusually tempting based on branding efforts. Skipped one because nah (also have several cans of the gochujang style from a Costco purchase), but I was willing to pay the sale price for the other (tea is meh, wouldn't pay full price for it or buy regularly, hopefully the peach is better).
