A friend paid a company to build her organisation a website. They just got some prefab €50 wordpress theme and made some changes. No-one checked the site between screen widths 768 and 1200 and the slideshow has one slide. With the h1 and two links in the slide positioned absolute for some reason. Pause war ASAP (to be resumed later when Ukraine is more vulnerable politically, militarily & economically) because current situation in Russia is not sustainable.
Putin cannot appear to have been wasting time or lives so he needs to be able to keep everything he has taken (including children) with no reparations or accountability.
Sanctions removed so he can rebuild re-arm.

So I guess this thing is for realz. My tiny little Canadian town has a craft brewery, a coffee roastery, and a hard liquor distillery. The wineries start an hour drive away. Within an hour drive is also an agri area where I buy wheat berries, oats, rye, meat, dairy and anything else I can't grow. I'm very lucky to live here but all across Canada, we got all the shit we need. Plus, we share a border with Europe. The tiny island of Hans we share with Denmark (after years of a Schnapps vs Rye-Whiskey and flags war with them that lasted YEARS- lol) Also, I bet lots of Americans don't know that the dang King of England is technically our king too. So, there's that.
But seriously, I wish we were ALL on the same side. This crap going down hurts everyone on the planet. -
Second, #Trump is no #Nixon, & I don’t mean this in a good way. Nixon’s wrongdoing was egregious, & #criminal. But he did not pose a #threat to #democracy on the same level as Trump, w/his incessant claims of a system rigged against him, of elections stolen & politically motivated prosecutions. Nixon left office under political pressure, but, still, he left….

The #House of Representatives voted 2X to #impeach Trump, but the #Senate failed to #convict — the second time largely because #Republican senators (& Trump’s own lawyers) pointed to the prospect of #criminal prosecution for efforts to interfere w/the election results. Then #SCOTUS carved out a broad sphere of #immunity for #Trump, jeopardizing at least part of Smith’s prosecution.

The new osteoporosis doctor I was referred to is trying to get clinic staff to force me to use #Telus #CorporateRun #health phone system for first intake appointment on Thursday morning. I'm calling them tomorrow & telling them I'm not downloading an app when the doctor can use a phone to call me.
I'm going to tell whomever is unlucky enough to picks up the phone at their office in the morning - that I'm recording the entire phone call for my personal security records & for evidence that I refused to be forced into enabling public health care be destroyed. I'm not a YES GIRL for that sleazy evil.

I’m still thinking about an article I read about dental flossing. Apparently, all you need to do in order to know that flossing is an essential piece of dental hygiene is to smell a piece of used floss.

Yeah. Obviously I haven’t done this, but that little nugget of information has really stayed with me.(I use a water flosser. Removes any olfactory temptation entirely)
