İlk oyun Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice'ı, aynı bilgisayarımda windows yüklüyken oynayamıyordum!
Linux'a geçince harika akıcı oynayabiliyorum.
Fakat oyun meraklısı olmadığım için bir türlü devam edecek ruh hâlini ve imkânı bulamadım.
Meselâ sonunda Vakıf serisine başlayabildim, ama oyun yapmakla uğraştığım için yine kaldı!

I’ve finished it! Overall I really enjoyed the storyline, but the gameplay was a little frustrating and restrictive. Clearly designed to make it difficult but still enjoyable for the most part.
Looking forward to starting Senua’s Saga.

The combat system in Hellblade can be so frustrating. The way you can only focus on one enemy at a time, and it's even worse when enemies spawn behind you already have multiple in front.

CW: Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Spoilers
It seems somewhat crazy that fighting Fenrir is much easier than 5 normal(ish) enemies in close quarters combat. Especially when the combat system isn't the greatest in the first place.
Still, it makes the game a challenge.

Something I've found annoying about Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is that it's not overly obvious when you can safely quit the game without losing progress.
There has been several times when I've exited the game when I think I've passed a major milestone and when I've loaded back in, I've found myself further back than I thought I would be.
There isn't a way to manually save it, so it's especially frustrating when you have to do a major boss fight again!

Hier j'ai tout juste terminé Senua's Sacrifice et ça a vraiment été thérapeutique. La voir passer d'un état de doute, presque à la merci des voix qui la découragent ; à un état où elle se met à leur répondre et à exprimer que c'est elle qui décide. Même si au début elle a déjà décidé d'agir pour elle-même, on la voit gagner en assurance au fil du jeu.

I recently played through #hellbladesenuassacrifice and it creeped me out more than any horror game.
The main character (=you in the game) has a #psychosis which one sees/hears throughout the game.
Just thinking that some people are really experiencing something like that...

Il y a quelques jours je me demandais à quel jeu j'allais jouer qui allait être suffisamment linéaire pour que je me perde pas dans la collectionite d'un open world, suffisamment scénarisé pour que je m'implique émotionnellement et suffisamment dynamique pour que mon attention ne se dissipe pas à moitié dans une vidéo YouTube qui passe en fond.
Et là je viens de me souvenir que j'ai Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice et que d'après mon souvenir il devrait cocher toutes les cases.

Playtime: 31mHellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a third-person action-adventure game, in which you play as Senua, a Viking-era Pict warrior, on a mission to enter Helheim, and save the soul of her dead lover.
The game opens with a mental health warning that it features representations of psychosis, with good reason.
Senua is experiencing psychosis, and hears voices.
I immediately found this challenging. I have lived with mental health issues for all of my adult life. While I have not experienced psychosis, I felt... a familiarity... with the game's expression of psychosis.
The game opens with Senua in a canoe paddling into a horrifying gorge in which bodies are floating in the water, and are impaled on stakes along the riverside, as the narrator speaks of Senua in the third person.
Senua is paddling into Helheim.
This tableau, however, is not an expression of Senua's psychosis.
The narrator is.
As the Senua paddles on, the narrator joins with a cacophony of other voices challenging, attacking, and goading Senua.
This is discomforting.
As Senua makes landfall, and progresses on foot through an environment that is no less harrowing than the river, light appears and fades; the screen distorts, the voices rise and fall.
The weight of this presses down on me. On Senua. On us.
Memories explode into view, and then fade.
Senua reaches the gates of Helheim, and engages in her first battle, which is frightening, and devastating in turns.
This has been a difficult and long review to write; the way in which the game shifts between the mental and physical is both visceral, and somehow weightless.
This too, feels familiar. It makes this a complicated game to play.
On a technical level, the visuals are excellent. The sound design is is something else; it lifts this game to another level.
There is no HUD, no health bar. No instructions on what to do.
With keyboard and mouse, the game relies on the standard WASD + F to use. Swordplay and blocking felt instinctive.
This game is only a few months newer than yesterday's game, yet almost perfectly embodies "show, don't tell". The attention that was seemingly lacking for gameplay in yesterday's game, is seen here in buckets, and the game is better for it.
However, these reviews aren't entirely a review of the quality of the game, but also whether I want to invest my gaming time in a particular game.
That is far more complex, because while this IS an excellent game, it's a difficult one for *me* to play; it is affecting on a level that I need to assess further.
As such, for me Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is:

As it stands I've spent almost all my gaming time this year on the #steamdeck. My series X has been used to watch Streaming shows !
The first serious Xbox gaming Ive done all year was this week playing #Bannerlord for the first time.Mostly because #gamepass just had a lot of games but most didn't appeal to me and the real treasures I've finished long ago (shoutout to #hellbladesenuassacrifice ).

Rating: 9/10.
En dosis pequeñas xq el tema que aborda es la psicosis, cómo se escucha y cómo se ve.
Se trabajó junto con personas que tienen psicosis y sus experiencias para crear el mundo de Senua, cómo se ve, como suena, como lo experimenta ella.
Cuando lo empecé a jugar tuve momentos en los que me costaba respirar. Si una es muy ansiosa o tiene depresión es un juego al que es mejor manejar en dosis pequeñas.

Digo volviendo porque la estupidez de poquito espacio que tiene el PS me hizo desintalar todos los juegos que tenía para poder bajar GOW.
Una pensaría que los maes no son unos cheap ass con el espacio, pero bueno.

The Long Dark dostarcza poczucia osamotnienia, momentami niemal przytłaczającego, co wpisuje się w moją introwertyczną naturę ciągnącą do spokoju i wewnętrznego świata pełnego wyobrażeń i przemyśleń... nawet tych nie mających zbyt wiele wspólnego z rzeczywistością.
Zafascynował mnie proces powstawania tej gry i pełne szacunku podejście twórców do zaburzeń psychicznych, a następnie przełożenie researchu i badań (a właściwie rozmów) na postać Senuy. Czas i miejsce akcji, a także motywy zapożyczone z mitologii nordyckiej, to dodatkowy smaczek.
Ten tytuł jest dla mnie perfekcyjny od pierwszej do ostatniej sekundy. Powracałam do niego kilka razy i zawsze byłam poruszona losami rodu Finchów. Te niedopowiedzenia, czy odbiorca rzeczywiście powinien doszukiwać się czegoś nadnaturalnego w wydarzeniach na przestrzeni kilkudziesięciu lat, przyciągają jak magnes. Lubię w tej grze cały ogrom rzeczy i mam do niej wielki sentyment.

Ta gra jest po prostu... rewelacyjna. Straszna, zaskakująca, wciągająca, skłaniająca do refleksji nad istotą człowieczeństwa. Nigdy nie zapomnę tego, że SOMA była tematem dyskusji na jednych zajęciach z filozofii, kiedy byłam na studiach.

Cóż, tematyka zombie była ogromną częścią mojego życia, gdy byłam nastolatką. Pochłaniałam jak szalona wszystko, co dotyczyło zombie. O ile na przykład kocham Left 4 Dead, znów wolałam oddać to miejsce czemuś z (bardziej rozbudowaną) fabułą. The Walking Dead od Telltale, ten pierwszy sezon, to jedna z najbardziej emocjonalnych gier. W tym roku powróciłam do niej w Definitive Edition i pomimo że doskonale znałam koniec, zwyczajnie nie mogłam się powstrzymać od łez.
Uderzam w mroczne tony tym łańcuszkiem, ale zaskakująco dobrze się z tym czuję, co chyba oznacza, że wybrałam gry zgodnie ze swoją naturą.
