Halfway point of my one anime I'm watching this season: #Helck is pretty good but jeez it really needed like double the budget it has for an action-focused show.

That said, it gave me this so 10/10

The #Helck #anime is certainly working better than the first volume of the manga did, for me, so far. Though in two episodes (just started the second) they haven’t quite covered that first volume. #animastodon #Summer2023Anime

Helck Episode 1:

That was really good. Didn't know much about it going in, outside of it having a manga. Animation, voice acting, and all was really well done.

Good amount of laughs, but I'm expecting the comedy to slow down a bit as it seems it will take on more serious tones as the series continues.

Looking forward to seeing where this leads.

The "will give it a shot and see how it goes" pile:

- #JujutsuKaisen - Didn't love the first season as much as everyone else, but it was good nonetheless, so I'll try it.
- #Helck - Heard good things about the manga.
- The new #BanGDream - Not in the "for sure" category since it seems like it's got an all new cast.
- #AiNoIdenshi - Description is interesting.
