People aren't really talking about heating oil but I just did some maths and based upon some local numbers, before the war heating oil companies locally were charging 2.2 times wholesale for delivery and right now (as of Friday close) that'd put heating oil at an Oh My Fucking Gods of $10.08 a gallon.

    (Wholesale close Friday 2026/9/25: $4.5799)

    This is obviously basically a northerner's problem and in particular New England/New York and the upper midwest states, so very regional, but, well, you know. Ouch.
