Diving into my own past of (virtual) warmongering again. Well, sort of. By the early 2000s, it was not even remotely my favourite genre anymore. But old love never dies. After enjoying #ParadoxEntertainment's #EuropaUniversalis immensely, it was a given I would also buy their next title, #HeartsOfIron.

It's a sad realization.
When I play as some evil empire while playing #HeartsofIron or #Victoria etc, I think I still value the precious lives of my soldiers and citizens more than the Russian terrorist regime in the real life :SMOrc: -
As a fan of #Paradox strategies, I was looking forward to the new #Victoria3,but the game went in a different direction than I expected.
Those who are used to #EuropaUniversalis, #HeartsOfIron and the previous #Victoria will be surprised:
There are absolutely no troops on the map,nothing to send from province to province.
I didn't follow the development much and only discovered it in the reviews. Some people even like it. But I'm probably old-fashioned for "strategic-clicking" game style.😞
