First run over an hour for some time and boy what a struggle it was! 😩😫 Wanted to run the main part in zone 3 and hopefully keep a decent pace but alas not today, breathing heavy, heart rate climbing too much so having to slow to a walk on a few occasions. My aerobic base has definitely dropped over the past 2 months.   37. Hadn’t really felt like running since Sunday but decided to venture out this afternoon for a super slow zone 2 10k jog. Found it tough going today, chest was tight and breathing a struggle so had to resort to slowing to a walk in places to keep in the zone. And tbh I’ve neglected zone 2 training for the recent half which helped on previous ones. Think I need to build up a better aerobic base again #running #10krun #heartratetraining #RunnersOfMastodon
