Aha! I've enjoyed streaming quite a few tracks from this album before it was complete,, but was waiting til it was done and dusted before nabbing the lot, so #BandcampFriday is the perfect time.
Tony is a sonic wizard, scoring the soundtrack for the #HeartOfNeon documentary amongst many other musical goodies, and is well worth checking out, especially if you like darker alternative and soundtrack-vibes. 😎
I was finally able to get my hands on the Heart Of Neon doco, whic is all about the history of Jeff Minter and Llamasoft. Well worth the wait! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ #retrocomputing #c64 #heartofneon
Absolutely brilliant doco. Have seen it twice so far (digi version late last year, then again when the BluRay arrived a couple of months ago) and it is so damn llovely, I may watch it again this week.
Can not recommend it highly enough, now that it's available to all. 🦙
Great video, Rob! Like you, I was a backer, so have seen the movie a couple of times (when we got the digi version late last year, then again when the BluRay arrived a couple of months ago) and it is a thing of llovelliness. 🦙
Ciao.

Opening some mail that arrived whilst away to find a llovely surprise - my #HeartOfNeon BluRay kickstarter goodies, including the excellent doco itself, remix album, shirt, postcards and poster (not pictured).
So much #Llamasoft related goodness!
The mystery of the mystery :pakidge: is solved! It was something I'd completely forgotten about ordering!
Just got the Heart of Neon blu-ray from Kickstarter delivered: a documentary about the exceptional history of @llamasoft_ox and Llamasoft. A film by Paul Docherty, who also did the documentary parts for Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story by @DigitalEclipse.
I'll be watching it this week!
I had totally forgotten about backing Heart of Neon until last night when an email with my digital version download links arrived.
Listening to the soundtrack album while working now, it's great.
Just finished watching #HeartOfNeon - the seriously brilliant documentary about game dev pioneer and all-round legend Jeff Minter, by @HeartOfNeon and I'm blown away by how great it is.
Even as a Minter fan since C64 days there was no shortage of elements I was not aware of, and the overall arc and storytelling was so satisfying.
Looking forward to checking out the bonus features over what is now a most excellent weekend!
Shoutout also to @tonylongworth for the wonderful soundtrack!
