Three thoughts out of the #LuigiMangione #court #hearings...

1) the #police clearly didn't take the #arrest seriously (they thought it was just a weirdo with a forged ID, possibly just harassing a homeless man), and botched the initial #investigation. This will be useful for his defense #lawyer.

2) #Mangione giving police fake names and a fake #ID shows he either purposefully got himself arrested, or is very insane. It's also possible he was copying the actual #UnitedHealthcare #CEO #assassin, passing off the names and IDs he was known to have, getting caught with what looked like "evidence". Remember: lots of people sympathize with the shooter. All this could easily be his defense.

3) The more we find out about how he got caught, the more I'm realizing how someone who does this might be able to avoid being caught, leaving the act to speak for itself, blending in with everyone else who sympathized, and creating plausible deniability it they are ever arrested.

"We live in #InterestingTimes" indeed...
