Any suggestions how to find which Android phones have support for Bluetooth Hearing Access Profile?
I'm looking for a replacement phone for someone with (older) hearing aids.

Does this product exist?

A microphone that you can connect via Bluetooth to any BT speaker or receiver (like a hearing aid) to make that speaker into a sort of PA system?

It seems so obvious that this should exist. But searching I seem to only find these stupid LLM generated articles, and microphones sold with its own speaker or its own receiver that you need to plug in to an aux input. Am I being stupid?

@WuMing2 Ah OK - sorry but that wasn't clear.
My only experience is with the standard NHS Oticon device so there's little else that I can help you with.
My aids have an app but this is optional, the programming is done by an audiologist in person using the Oticon software at the clinic. Setting the aids up, and regular review of those settings is vital.

I don't know if re-asking the question using the hashtags #hearingLoss and #hearingAid might be more helpful.

This is mainly meant for being able to hear the person you are conversing with in noisy environments. The video demonstrates the amplification and shows that it can also work over longer distances even though that is not really the main use case advertised.

The feature works brilliantly for me: life-changing. Actual hearing aids with Bluetooth (so I wouldn't be constantly swapping them for some form of headphones/ earbuds) cost thousands.

I can hear people sooo much better. When I take them out, my natural hearing sounds like I've clamped my hands over my ears, similar to how you don't know how bad your vision has gradually got until your first pair of glasses.

Apple have been evil of late, but this is genuinely great.

2 major iOS updates (& all beta) since have not enabled the feature.

I can #hear!!!!!!!! My #AirPods Pro 2 (with a built-in #HearingAid feature) arrived and son Jared and I set them up, and now I can freaking hear everything!!!!!!! 😊 💖 😊 💖 😊 💖

Good #HearingAid advice here. I’ve worn NHS hearing aids for 40 years and I can’t imagine my life without them now…

But as a teenager I hated being seen in them. I silently rebelled throughout my GCSEs by taking them out at school.

Then I came to my senses for A levels because I wanted to be the best I could be.

And that should be your thinking whatever age you are. If in doubt, get tested.
