Happy #ebay #intelnuc purchase - turned out to be a #crestron #UcEngine-Z which happens to have a #nuvoton #infrared receiver.

So as a combined #homeassistant #kodi #everythingBox it is very well setup. Only downside so far is no #HDR and no #HdmiCEC

Для корпоративного сегмента мне часто приходится приобретать телевизоры. Они используются не для демонстрации развлекательного контента (ТВ‑каналов, YouTube, онлайн‑кинотеатров), а в качестве больших информационных панелей для вывода видео‑ и аудиопотоков со сторонних источников сигнала, подключённых по HDMI. Я не углублялся в особенности установленной операционной системы (Smart TV или обычная), так как это не было важно. Мой выбор всегда основывался на качестве картинки, звука и диагонали экрана при приемлемой цене. После подключения внешнего источника HDMI пульт убирался в коробку, и система работала без нареканий. Пока я не столкнулся с YaOS. Голосовой помощник — «Алиса» быстро дала понять, кто в доме хозяин.

@lauren HDMI-CEC is a terrible standard, just like USB-A. It was not developed or approved by IEEE, unlike FireWire and DVI-D (both now defunct for other reasons).

To resolve problems, I would suggest removing all HDMI cables, and unplugging all equipment.

Plug everything in one by one and power on. Test. Add more equipment. Power on. Test.

Do not plug HDMI cables in with devices powered on.

If at first you don’t succeed, then try, try again! 😑

#HDMICEC / #HDMIARC läuft so stabil, dass es das gute, alte „zieh den #Netzstecker und alle #HDMI Kabel vom #TV und warte 10 Minuten bis zum wieder anstecken“ wieder ein echtes „thing“ ist 🤪
(Und ich wollte schon nen neuen #Fernseher kaufen… puh sind die teurer geworden. - Gut, das ich das jetzt nicht ausgeben muss, blöd das sich 65 Zoll jetzt in meinen Kopf festgesetzt haben 🤤- Aber meine Finanz- & Umweltministerin sagt eindeutig „Nein“ 🙄und sie hat ja so recht 😬 eigentlich)
