You have GOT to be kidding me.
Mission Hospital in #Asheville snagged the 95 extra beds the state was awarding to the area, even after countless failures of HCA to effectively run this system.
We had 3 other systems vying for these beds, and at least 100 people at the community meeting when we got to talk about which group should be awarded the beds.
This is the worst possible outcome.

So, just heard a "rumor" that our local hospital (that today said they were cancelling surgeries) has been on trauma and stroke diversion for more than 24 hours before that (meaning no trauma or stroke patients were being sent there) because their stuff isn't clean. And that new supplies that were due at 0800 Monday still hadn't arrived 16 hours later.

Our #Mission hospital system, currently being run into the ground by #HCA has made yet another step to keep our #ER from functioning safely.
This is after the system was placed in "immediate jeopardy" last year by CMS due to unsafe conditions, AND after a patient recently died in an ER bathroom.
HCA, of course, blames one employee whom it fired, rather than the meager staffing levels and overworked employees which are our reality.

During today's 4PM briefing the head of #HCA the for-profit corp that runs our Mission Hospital was speaking. He told us that HCA was doing an amazing job to support their employees which would be a freaking first.
Anyway, he also said that they were bringing in water tanker trucks, and have re-pressurized the water system at Mission. They are still conserving water, but water right now is working at Mission with potable water. Yay.
I personally think the CEO did this because their profits were down and they were getting worse press than usual.
But I'm a cynic.

有關歌曲自二○一九年起開始廣泛流傳，歌詞內容含有已被法庭裁定可構成煽動的口號，而有關歌曲近期亦多次被錯誤表述為「香港國歌」（而非正確的《義勇軍進行曲》），對國歌造成侮辱，對國家和特區造成嚴重損害。事實上，過往發生的不少事件，已證明有關歌曲極可能會在違反《#香港國安法》及《刑事罪行條例》等情況下繼續被肆意流傳。為了履行特區政府維護國家安全的憲制責任，有效防範、制止和懲治危害國家安全的行為和活動，特區政府經仔細考慮後決定向法院申請針對任何人以下行為的禁制令：
（一）在下述（i）或（ii）的前提下，以任何方式（包括在互聯網及／或任何可供網上取覽的媒介及／或任何基於互聯網的平台或媒介）廣播、表演、刊印、發布、出售、要約出售、分發、傳布、展示或複製有關歌曲，不論是其曲調或歌詞或曲詞 （包括有關歌曲的改編本，而其曲調、歌詞及／或曲詞實質上與有關歌曲相似者），尤其是主張把香港從中華人民共和國分離出去:

（二）以任何方式（包括在互聯網及／或任何可供網上取覽的媒介及／或任何基於互聯網的平台或媒介）廣播、表演、刊印、發布、出售、要約出售、分發、傳布、展示或複製有關歌曲，不論是其曲調或歌詞或曲詞（包括有關歌曲的改編本，而其曲調、歌詞及／或曲詞實質上與有關歌曲相似者），意圖侮辱國歌，違反《國歌條例》第7條，致令其：
（i）相當可能被誤會為對香港特別行政區而言屬國歌；或
（ii）使人聯想到香港特別行政區是一個獨立國家並擁有其本身的國歌；或
（三）幫助、導致、促致、煽惑、協助和教唆他人實施或參與任何上文第（一）或（二）段所列明的行為；或
（四）明知而授權、准許或容許他人實施或參與任何上文第（一）或（二）段所列明的行為。政府發言人指出：「政府申請禁制令的目的是制止任何人在意圖煽動他人分裂國家，或在具煽動意圖的情況下，傳播或表演有關歌曲等；或在具侮辱國歌意圖的情況下，將有關歌曲當為香港國歌傳播或表演等，以維護國家安全及國歌的尊嚴。政府一直尊重及重視《#基本法》保障的權利和自由（包括#言論自由），但言論自由並非絕對。為維護國家安全這個正當目的，有關申請是必要、合理和合法的，符合相關人權法案的要求。事實上，禁制令既與現行法律相輔相成，亦向公眾人士明確指出上述行為可構成刑事罪行，市民不應以身試法。」
