Lincoln City, OR: Tuesday, a 62 yr old man #crashed a Toyota #SUV up onto the #Hwy101 #sidewalk into a power pole & pizza restaurant. Police did not issue a citation, reporting, "it appears the driver had a medical emergency causing the crash."
Importantly, crashes like this may be reduced—or crash damages recovered—if #OregonHouseBill #HB2316 passes. The bill closes a drug loophole, expanding the definition of intoxicants to include any substance that impairs driving, for ex, muscle relaxers.
