I’m glad I finally got to see #HawkTheSlayer, though in retrospect I now realize I may have confused it with the better budgeted “Krull.” Still, it made for a worthy #Monsterdon flick.
Even if the plot was lifted from somebody’s AD&D campaign, any movie with Jack Palance chewing scenery, random synth music soundtrack, and death by silly string isn’t all bad. I loved that it took itself seriously, but not ponderously.
Great pick, everybody. Well done!

And so, they fucked off to the south to find the greatest of adventures: the unfilmed sequel.
That was a lot of fun, fam. When the Owlbear was but a puggle, they really enjoyed this movie. Now, 45 years later… wow this was bad. But holy shit that soundtrack!
