In my "catch up on years of my articles-to-read pile" effort, I'm not giving this one the time it deserves but "climate Huassmannization" isn't very easy to say but it's a pretty good way to think about it.

Paris en l'an 2000 après la réalisation du projet de Le Corbusier et de Gabriel Voisin pour le cœur de la capitale française ! 🧐
Un travail de fond « à la Haussmann » pour rendre la ville moderne et fonctionnelle... Finalement, seules les banlieues lointaines furent traitées de cette manière... 😔

#Paris may not be best known for its fountains, but the #Medici #Fountain in the Luxembourg Gardens is always worth a visit. It was originally constructed in 1630 for Marie de Médicis, the queen regent of France (and a very forceful, unsubtle person). The entire fountain was moved by 30 meters and altered a bit when Baron #Haussmann rerouted the traffic arteries of Paris during 1864-1866.
